One of the most importantly archaeological centers of the Mayan civilization, it is internationally recognized as one of the seven wonders of the world.

Around the year 800 it was the most powerful city in the Yucatan Peninsula.
In this period it reached its maximum splendor and it was in this way that they built the temples that we know.
Chichen Itza is recognized worldwide for the play of light and shadow that occurs at each equinox; on the castle of Kukulkan you can see the snake descending to the bottom of the pyramid.
