CONTOY ISLAND AND MUJERES TOUR
On this tour we leave the hotel at approximately 6:40 in the morning, will take you to 2 of the most beautiful and well known islands of Quintana Roo, Mex.
Isla Contoy is a national park and a protected natural area as it is a very important point of refuge and nesting of seabirds.
A beautiful Caribbean island north of Cancun with spectacular beaches.
Is a protected area and has as its only building a small museum where the beauty of its flora and fauna is exhibited.
Its great biodiversity makes it a magnificent place for seabird watching such as frigate birds, pelicans, herons and much more.
Boarding one of our large and comfortable speedboats, we take you to this paradisiacal place in 40 minutes.
Before reaching the island, we stop at the reef that forms south of the island to jump into the water and enjoy a wonderful 40-minute snorkel (optional).
After snorkeling, the island is 10 minutes away….
Enjoying the wonderful view, we disembark at the dock of one of the island’s beaches where a small bay is formed with crystal clear and calm waters.
The guides will invite you to a 30 minute walking tour of the island (optional) to visit the museum.
An internal lagoon where several species of birds nest, some trails that take you to see the opposite side of the island and climb the tower to appreciate the incredible panoramic view of Contoy.
Food and soft drinks are incluided, after lunch we will rest on the island’s beaches for 1:30 hours .
After we depart to Isla Mujeres, a charming island with a lot of history.
We will be for an hour in the center of the island where we will be able to stroll through its streets and shopping.
Then we return to the dock of Punta Sam in Cancun around 4:00 pm.
We will be at the hotel at approximately 7pm.
